Sitting at home....

I’m not really sure what is going on today because I’m at home and no one is around. Well, Ollie and Finnegan are home, but I mean people. Usually, when mom and dad go to work, Ollie and I go to grandma and grandpa’s house, but dad didn’t take us with him today and I’m worried. He may not know where he is, or how to get home! You see, I usually stand on the center console in the Rover and tell dad how to get places and without me, we may never see him again. Still not sure why we couldn’t go to grandpa’s today but now I’m most worried that we’ll never see dad again. He certainly can’t find his was around the sprawling city that we live in without me there as a guide.

(Mom: Mackie, you dad can get around fine. He was driving for years before you came around and besides, Easton is a very small little town.)

Don’t listen to mom. She has no idea what I’m talking about. Besides, it took me years to train her before I ever had to start with dad. Sheez, people.

Have a good weekend everyone!!

Hi Mackie! You guys sure look like you're having fun with your ball! It's scary when what usually happens at home, doesn't. We dogs are creatures of habit, and we worry when things change. I like to help my mom drive too. She isn't so good with the clutch, and sometimes I fall off the seat. She's thinking about seatbelts for us, but so far it hasn't happened. Take care, happy barks...Scruffy

We hope your dad found his way home and you have a wonderful weekend. Let us know if we need to organize a search party, OK?

Hi Mackie,

I know what you mean. I worry too everytime my family leaves the house and I am alone. But they always come back and then I am happy. They won't forget you, Mackie. They love you.

How have you been? I seem to have lost contact with you and for that I am sorry. I will do better.

Lots of Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

I also have to help mom drive everywhere - I get to sit in the copilot seat so I understand.

Enjoy your weekend Mackie!!!

Did your dad make it home safe and sound?? You gotta keep a careful eye on those humans, I tell ya.

It's nice you got both your humans trained though! I'm still working on mine, hehe.

Take Care!

I liked to ride on the console when I was a pup, until I slipped forward when Mom braked, hit my nose on the radio and changed the station before tumbling into the floor of the pickup. Didn't slow me down much, I jumped right back up on the horse that threw me and rode there until I got too big.
Now I ride shotgun.

Home your Dad navigates back home safely!
