Wow! What a Nose!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday and are able to spend it with people and furry one's you love the most.

Mom asked me to let her have a little space on my blog to tell a funny story...
Hi all..just wanted to tell you about Mackie's nose..We have learned in our home that we can't put Christmas presents under the tree for the boys because Mackie will open them. He goes around smelling each present and knows which are his. So, we've been getting the boys Christmas presents last thing before Christmas. We went shopping last night and I had Mackie in the kitchen feed them dinner when Steve brought the bag in the house, took it upstairs to our bedroom closet. I was planning on wrapping them today and putting them under the tree early tomorrow, like Santa. When Mackie was finished eating he came out to the living room and the nose went in the air. He walked around smelling everything---all the presents under the tree, each bag and stood on his hind legs to look on table tops. Soon he went to the bottom of the stairs and sniffed...it lead him right upstairs, into our room and to the closet door where he pawed the door and commenced to whining. Darn that terrier nose!!

Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS! We love you ALL!!

We have some experience with that....which has led to new luggage in the car. Large hard plastic boxes closed with bungee cords for anything remotely edible.

It's been a while. Just wanted you to know we're thinkin' aboutcha. Sniffed the wind to the east, we did, when we were in the Baltimore area. Did you catch our scent? That of your Colorado pals? When we were visiting your neck of the woods? (Mighty nice part of the country where you live. Yep. It is.)

Take care, Mackie and Family.

Hehehe! It's almost been a year ... but we're hopin' you'll still get this:

OK. We're gonna admit. Straightaway. No bones about it. We're taking the easy peasy way out. We want to get around to EVERYONE on our blog roll to remind you about the Second Annual Worldwide Moment coming up on Sunday 14 Nov 10. Were you there last year? Do you remember? Or are you new to it this year? Wondering what that Countdown Clock is on blogs that you visit? Whatever. We want you and everyone you know to have a chance to participate in the Silent Minute, the Candle Lighting and the Shout Out! Come visit. We've got a new banner for you, HTML for an (accurate, now that the word UNTIL is in red) Countdown Clock and a link to figure out what time 11:00 PM GMT is in your neck of the woods.

So. You're getting this 'cause we've been friends in the blogging world and we want you to know.

Please forgive the "stock" comment, but we told Moma we've never done this before and we'll not do it again (at least until next year.)

Loads of wirey love and lots of encouragment to join in (and to pass the word)
Jake and Fergi (and OurMoma and OurCollegeGirl)
