MY DOG AND ME
My mom found this poem and she said it reminded her of me (except for the not very smart bit!) Wha tis THAT supposed to mean anyway?
MY DOG AND ME
My dog must be blind
not to see
my wrinkles
graying hair
expanding belly
Or, maybe, she just doesn't care
and loves me anyway.
She's not very smart but
she's mine
and loves me anyway
And maybe,
just maybe,
Next time I feel weird about me
I can borrow
her eyes.

I love a swelling belly - it's more comfy!

Aw, that's a nice poem. I will love mum & dad forever. As long as they don't go out for Christmas dinner & leave me alone again!

MaMa feels so soft to hug, if you know what I mean...
Mackie: Thank your mom for sharing the poem with us. Muzzer is softer than Dad, but he is a real softie when one needs a bit of a treat!
That is so cool and sweet. When I had no hair on my head from chemo, the only one who didn't stare at me was my dog Boo. In fact her favorite thing to do was lick my big old bald head to wake me up in the morning. So when I would feel sorry for myself I would look at her and instantly feel better about myself!
Thanks for sharing,
